LORD of CERAMICS was founded in 1984 as a family owned and operated business producing photoceramic portraits. We began our business in Europe producing photo-ceramics in black and white, sepia, and color. Each portrait was a real work of art, colored by hand, and baked on one by one, required a good deal of experience.

In spite of the hard work dedicated to reproducing the original photos onto porcelain; the photo-ceramic portrait did not always resemble the original photos because of the limited technology at that time.

Since 1984, LORD of CERAMICS never stopped working on the improvement of quality and following new techniques. After years of perfecting the technology we were able to develop a new digital system. Digital imaging led LORD of CERAMICS to realize that with their extensive background in traditional photo-ceramics, they could offer customers the unique combination of professional digital and traditional services, giving them more options from which to choose from.

LORD of Ceramics has been an innovator in digital imaging while maintaining the highest quality traditional services. With our technology the resemblance of the photo-porcelain to the original photo is nearly identical.
